Blush is helemaal hot in de make-upwereld. Maar weet je wel hoe je hem moet aanbrengen, en wat je blush over jou vertelt? Nee? Check de video en lees verder.

Poeder, vloeibaar, crème. Je vind het overal en in alle kleuren – we hebben het over blush. Maar weet je eigenlijk waar je blush precies moet aanbrengen? Als je het goed doet, kan het je make-uplook helemaal veranderen. Wáár je blush aanbrengt, is misschien wel belangrijker dan welk product je kiest.

Een gezicht als na een facelift

Breng de blush aan op de bovenkant van je jukbeenderen en vervaag hem met een kwast of je vingers naar boven toe. Zo laat je je gezicht stralen en krijg je een facelift-effect – thuis, voor een paar euro en volledig pijnloos. Blush op de bovenkant van je wangen ziet er dan weer sexy en volwassen uit en is geweldig in combinatie met bijvoorbeeld cat-eyes of vervaagde eyeliner.

Schattig en vol

Als je al een tijdje blush gebruikt, heb je vast wel eens gehoord dat je hem moet aanbrengen terwijl je lacht, precies op het midden van je wangen (de ‘appeltjes’). Het probleem met deze manier is dat het wat slapjes kan overkomen, en als je van nature al rode wangen hebt, schiet je er ook niet veel mee op.

Breng je blush daarom aan bij je oogcontouren in plaats van op je wangen – ongeveer ter hoogte van je buitenste ooghoeken. Zo creëer je een schattige look met volle wangen en een jeugdige uitstraling. Ideaal voor wie niet graag veel make-up gebruikt, of in combinatie met subtiele nude oogschaduw.

Als het kon, zou ik het grootste deel van het jaar aan zee zitten. Zon en zout water doen niet alleen wonderen voor mijn humeur, maar ook mijn huid gaat er prachtig van stralen! Aan zee wonen is misschien een droom, maar er is niets dat me tegenhoudt om die look thuis te creëren, ongeacht het weer.

Breng de blush aan op je wangen en neus – eigenlijk op het hele midden van je gezicht. Daar waar je van nature bruint en een schattige blos krijgt.

Ga voor een rode vloeibare of crème-blush. Met rood krijg je die natuurlijk ogende blos en voel je je alsof je met vakantie bent.
