About
I am a screenwriter, news anchor, reporter, writer, producer and actor primarily known in Atlanta.
During a break from news, I played several news anchors/reporters on the silver screen including The Front Runner starring Hugh Jackman, Through The Glass Darkly, starring Robin Lively, Fatima’s Revenge, and American Undead.
Prior to the big screen, I appeared as a guest co-host on several episodes of ABC’s The View, alongside Meredith Viera, Star Jones, and Joy Behar. I was one of only 20 women across the country, including Whoopi Goldberg, Rosie O’Donnell, and Elisabeth Hasselbeck to audition live on-air for a vacant co-host spot.
During the Global Pandemic, when the world shut down, I joined a dynamic group of women, producing and co-hosting talk show Beautifully Driven from our own homes. We used the show to encourage, inspire, and uplift audiences during a period of grave isolation.
For over almost 30 years, I have been a constant figure in the Atlanta television market covering live, local, and breaking news for CBS, NBC, and FOX, as well as anchoring the evening news for The American News Network, and hosting talk show Get Connected.
Throughout my dynamic career I have interviewed world leaders and some of the biggest names in Hollywood including Tyler Perry, Angelina Jolie, John Travolta, Cicely Tyson, Presidents George H. Bush and Jimmy Carter, Jane Fonda, Tom Brokaw, Lynn Whitfield, Governor Sonny Perdue, Martin Lawrence, Rosie O’Donnell, Former Governor Zell Miller, Tim Allen, Ted Turner, Senator Max Cleland, and many more.
If you haven't seen me, you may have heard me. I have voiced dozens of voice-overs and hosted corporate videos, both locally and nationally. I have also used my skills in the consulting arena coaching professional athletes and executive level clients prepare for first-time on-camera interviews.
I can also be seen modeling in several national print commercials including Shell Oil, The Ritz Carlton, Naturalwear Magazine, The Bubba Keg and more.
I began my news career at CNBC in business and financial news, writing and producing several weekday business shows starring Ron Insana, David Faber, Sue Herrera, Bill Griffith, Joe Kernan and many more. Following my fast track at CNBC, I was later part of the team hired by Rupert Murdoch and Roger Ailes to launch Fox News Channel in the ‘90’s.
I am passionate about theatre and have been in several musical and dramatic productions. I am proud member on the Board of Trustees for The Georgia Ensemble Theatre. And I am totally obsessed with Hotworx to stay in shape!
